Free housewarming invitations
You've got the keys. Now tell everyone what to bring
The boxes are still in the hallway and three people have already asked what they can bring. One link answers it — the address with an Open in maps link, your own note about where to park, and a list where guests claim the ice, the wine and the cheese board before they arrive.

The bring list, already written
One tap lays out seven lines and twelve slots: 2 bags of ice (“the freezer is still full of boxes”), three bottles of wine or six-packs, sparkling water & sodas, a cheese & crackers board, three things to snack on, two things sweet, and paper cups, plates & napkins for 20.
One reply, the whole car-load
Your neighbour replying brings her husband and the kids — that's one reply, not three. Set a cap on the flat and every one of those people counts against it; the reply that would tip it over lands on a waitlist instead.
Address, map link, parking note
The new address gets a copy button and an Open in maps link. “Street parking is free after 6, the driveway is the movers'” goes in Party details, in your own words. Add to calendar sits right under the address.
When the van runs late
Push the start back an hour and send one update — it reaches every guest who left an email address and stayed subscribed, plus a text to anyone who ticked the SMS box.
AI writes the wording
“We finally have keys — and boxes in every room! 🏡 Come see the new place: doors open at four, nothing matches yet, and the tour takes ninety seconds. Grab a line off the list below if you'd like to bring something, or just bring yourselves.”

Housewarming questions, answered
Do I have to ask people to bring things?
No — it's one switch. A housewarming starts with What to bring on, but the list is empty until you tap “Start from the Housewarming list”, and turning the switch off in your party's settings takes the whole card off the invitation. Leave it on and the card says where guests stand in its own words: “Only if you'd like to — store-bought is perfect.” Nobody is assigned anything. They tap a line to claim it, or they don't.
Can I invite people without collecting everyone's email first?
Yes. Switch on open RSVP, share the link in the group chat, and guests add their own names — no list to type, and it holds 300. You never need an address up front. The one thing a first-time replier leaves is a way for you to reach them, and they choose which: an email or a mobile number. It comes to you, and never appears on the guest list other people see.
How private is the invitation link?
Unlisted, not locked. The address is sixteen random characters, and the page carries a noindex tag, so it won't turn up in a search for your street or your name. There's no password though — anyone you send it to can open it and forward it, so treat the link the way you'd treat your address. If you'd rather guests couldn't see each other, the who's-coming list is its own toggle — it starts on, and one switch turns it off.
What if more people come than I built the list for?
The housewarming list ships fixed quantities — it won't resize itself. Every line has a slot stepper in the Food tab, so “A bottle of wine or a six-pack” goes from three to six in three taps (twelve is the ceiling), and it won't let you drop a line below what guests already claimed. Add your own line in the same panel — “A folding chair”, “Another bag of ice”. If you'd rather the list did the arithmetic, that panel also offers the potluck list, sized off the real headcount; that's the one that later says “You built this list for 24. 34 are coming now.” with a Top the list up button.
